It already was very late in the evening, when i decided to head towards Aldeyarfoss after the Godafoss shooting, to give me the opportunity of a good sunrise next morning. I drove over 40 km in the late twilight on a rough track to finally reach Aldeyarfoss at the edge of the highland while it was almost dark. Weatherforecast was not sure. I tried to sleep as so often in the positive hope. 5:00 am was time to get up. While i peered out of the window i couldnīt believe how beautiful the sky already was. My adrenaline helped me to get up as quickly and i hurried down to the waterfall. Dark clouds appeared from behind and it already began to dribble. I really was in a rush to get a good photo. Five minutes later, the spell was broken and I was a happy guy . As the adrenaline wore off, I exhausted went back to the car.
