I just came back from an impressive 20 day trip to Iceland. My first thoughts after coming home are mixed. Luckily to be save at home with a roof over my head and sad not to stroll through breathtaking landscapes i can´t even describe in words.

I now want all of you to take part on my epic trip through this country.
First i want to present the famous rock formation Hvitserkur on the north side of iceland on a late light after sunset. The black lava boulders in the foreground impressed me to take such a low angle and to get a really big depth that leads you into the image.
The name "Imp Stone" can attributed to an icelandic saga which says there was once a troll who turned to stone after seeing the morning light. Believe it or not - this place is magical!

Grandios! Was soll man mehr sagen können, Island ist der Inbegriff der von Göttern geschaffenen Schönheit in der Menschenwelt, wenn man so möchte, und das so gekonnt in Bilder zu fassen, verdient meiner Meinung nach tiefsten Respekt!

Steven, ich hab es mir zur Aufgabe gemacht, die Eindrücke, die
teilweise nur einen kurzen Moment vorliegen festzuhalten und
zu teilen. Island war für mich eines der atemberaubendsten und
spannendsten Länder bisher, die ich bereist habe.
Mystik und Dramatik lauert dort hinter jeder Ecke und lässt Herzen,
die dafür offen sind höher schlagen.
Freut mich sehr, dass ich dir mit meinen Bildern einen Gefallen
tun kann - zutiefst!

Sobald Zeit und Geld mir gediegen sind, werd ich auf alle Fälle mal dort hinfahren/fliegen. Du hast damit meinen Eindruck, das es sich auf alle Fälle lohnt, nochmals stark bestätigt.
Ich denke, damit hast du dir eine der besten Dinge zur Aufgabe gemacht, welche man im Leben haben kann. An Autos zu schrauben und anderer Leute Fußmatten abzusaugen (grob ins Klischee gegriffen) ist mit Sicherheit nicht halb so erfüllend wie deine Arbeit. Danke nochmal!
