Pointe Saint-Mathieu while the sun rises.

This one is the last photo from my epic trip to France northwest coast and the Jura.
Beside this portrait i´ve got also a landscape from this wonderful location which i called "De Fine Terrae" - "The End of the Earth".
I hope you all enjoyed this photo series. I want to say thank you to all who shared my art.

A calendar 2013 with the photos from France will be published later this year. If you are interested, please pm.

I´m now looking forward to the upcoming Iceland trip :-).

When I was 9 years old, my Dad took me to visit Pointe Saint-Matthieu. My Dad was born in Brittany near Brest in a small village. Brings back memories since he is now passed on. Beautiful photos, all of them.

Yes it is! :-)
This point marks a ruin of an old Gothic abbey from the 11th Century and a lighthouse from 1865.
Saint-Mathieu is also called a very little village behind the ruin.
