Milk Pool - ICELANDby StefanHefele

Milk Pool

This is a relatively hidden river with some very nice waterfalls. Due to special minerals the water is turquoise milky. It was slightly rainy and I had to balance on the very slippery rocks with my extended tripod and an umbrella. The river was more like a white water and I was very worried why i haven't finished a camera insurance. But in the end everything went like clockwork and I could give up my worries for the next dangerous situation.

Yes, it is often a mixed feeling when shooting outdoors in the wilderness. On the one hand, you will feel overwhelmed by the beauty of the surrounding nature. On the other hand, the nature can strike without warning. Those who respect both sides, is also usually respected by nature.

My photos are made for large fine art prints. If you are interested please contact me: info@artwork-pictures.de
