After a brilliant sunset over the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón, i hurried to get to the wonderful black lava beach just a few hundred meters away. The light was already very gloomy and the big challenge was to get a sharp shot of this glacier fragments in the moving water with the need of a longer exposure. Also it was a very sporty challenge not to get icy-wet feets in the unpredictable breaking waves. I made a strenuous series of five photos in which I had to concentrate to the utmost of what I was doing. To get a straight horizon and a beautiful composition was harder to manage as it might sounds .
