After 10 days travelling throug France's northwest coast, i now release the first impressions. We were incredibly lucky with the weather situation - mostly cloudy and rainy during the day, but getting blessed with wonderful dusks and dawns...
The picture shows the Pointe de Pen Hir on the peninsula Crozon in Brittany during the late evening twilight. Getting as close as possible to the edge, it was quite a risky descent down the rocks. I always take care on my wonderful wife, me and my photo gear but am aware of the risk. So it´s always a privilege for me to capture such stunning moments and return savely.
I just reviewed a picture from you, but upon seeing this...
The colours are amazing, as well as the pick of the location. It seems like one is floating into the air, while looking at this rock formations. The sun throws a nice shadow onto the water, while still luminating the right part of it.
Somehow reminds me of pictures of sand - the contrast, of the land on the one and the water on the other side. But here, you have this rocks, harsh and not even, on the other side this water. So perfectly flat. It really had a nice impact on me.
