First i want to say thank you to Tobias Richter who pushed my inspiration with his beautiful photos from France. Sometimes i couldn´t do anything really different, because he already found the best lookouts and views. But i think this happens, when different passioned landscape photographers went out to the same locations.
As you can see, these part of brittanies coastline is full of red stones. So it's no wonder that the French people call the coast "Côte de Granit Rose". The lighthouse "Phare de Mean Ruz" was built with the same material and perfectly fits into its surrounding. I really loved this fairytale location. My wife and me spent the whole day searching for the best composition. The evening was grey and cloudy - no photo. After a rainy night i tried to be lucky in the morning. For a few minutes the sun broke through the thick clouds and illuminated the scenery in a very mystic light. High tide gave me perfect conditions, too.
